The gold is not as bright as it appears in the picture (the colors on the site are usually a bit less sparkly IRL) but they are flexlite and have outlasted a lot of my fancier frames. These things don't tarnish. I have dyed my hair wearing the glasses and they did not get stained or chip or anything. Meanwhile, a more expensive pair purchased from the same site, and which I have taken better care of, are losing some color on the temples. Go figure.
