After spending $690 at a national chain for two pair of glasses at a buy one - get one half price sale, I began thinking that in the long run it would be cheaper to have Lasik surgery than to keep purchasing eyeglasses every other year. My new glasses from the national chain are progressives. It's my first time wearing these and I find watching TV difficult because when I sit back in my recliner my line of vision is straight through the bottom of the lens which is for near vision -- so the picture far away on the TV is blurry and I have to tilt my head in an uncomfortable position to get my line of site correct. This set me on a quest to find a quality pair of single vision glasses for TV watching. I can't believe I was able to get a quality pair of single vision bicarbonate lens glasses with scratch resistance and glare protection for only $37 including shipping! Had I known about this site beforehand, I would have purchased my progressives here, too - since I could have had an entire wardrobe of fashion glasses here for what I spent on two pair at the national chain.
