MILLBURN -- New Eyes for the Needy has partnered with Eyebuydirect.com, the online optical retailer, which will donate one pair of glasses for every pair that is sold on the company's website during the week of Oct 5-9. 

Five million American adults are currently in need of eyeglasses, yet can’t afford it. The World Health Organization and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness have named Thursday, Oct. 8 as World Sight Day. 

Since its inception, New Eyes for the Needy based in Short Hills has helped more than 7,000,000 people in the world.
