These are statement eyeglasses. I love them. The frame's colors are meditative and the overall theme is grey: slate grey, light milky grey, bluish grey, ebony violet grey. The colors change slightly in different light. The design is more exotic than tortoiseshell. I came close to passing on these because of the 121 mm width. My face is small but not a child's size. After receiving them, I measured across and it was 126 mm wide. Perfect fit for me. They are a bit heavy but I am used to it. I wish EBD lowers the lens prices. I''d love to wear thinner glasses but not at prices double or triple the cost of the frame. The prescription is accurate, which is difficult for progressives.

First time ordering glasses online and trying a complete departure of style for me (I had been wearing the same rectangle frames for seven years and it showed). I've always loved the cat-eye look, but didn't think I could pull it off with my face (oval head shape and eyes shaped like footballs, per my optometrist). After an hour of wearing them, I was sold.
