These work especially well with progressive lenses, because there is a lot of room for the varied parts of the lens (reading/ distance). The part that goes over the nose is reminiscent of what you see in the window of high end frame stores. The deep colors in the acetate frames go well with autumnal colors. Despite their substantial heft, these frames are not heavy. I went for the second from the top set of lenses (not the most expenses), and these are thin and not heavy.
