Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Program Summary

You can earn EBD Credits toward your next EyeBuyDirect purchase by referring friends to our site! To begin earning credits, invite friends and family with your personalized referral link (you can share the personalized link via email or social media). When they use this link to both register an account with EyeBuyDirect and make a purchase totaling more than $15, they’re considered a referral — and you get paid! How much exactly? That’s $10 in EBD Credits for each referral, an extra +$10 in EBD Credits for your first referral (totaling $20 total for your first referral ever); an extra +$50 in EBD Credits for every five friends referred; and Double Credits earned during special campaign periods.

Where to find your personalized referral link

• Make sure you’re logged in to your EyeBuyDirect account
• Once signed in, hover your cursor over the “person” icon on the top right of the menu bar and scroll down to select the “Referral Program” option
• This will take you to your personalized Referral Program account dashboard
• Scroll down until you see “My Referral Link” and select
• Copy your personalized referral link and send to whomever your heart desires. You can also directly enter email addresses into the “Share by Email” section; and you can also directly share on Facebook

The fine print

• Your referral money will be awarded to you 14 days after a friends’ qualifying purchase
• Your friend will receive $10 in EBD Credits as soon as they register an account with us through your personalized referral link
• You can invite however many friends you want; but you are only eligible to receive referral rewards from a maximum of 25 friends’ qualifying purchases in a given year

Double credits campaign period

During Double Credits campaigns, you earn 2x the regular referral reward amount (so $20 per new referral instead of $10).

If your first referral ever occurs during a Double Credits campaign period, you’ll still earn the extra +$10 in EBD Credits for first-time referrals.If your first referral occurs during a Double Credits campaign period you’d earn $30 in EBD Credits just for that single referral.
You’ll also still receive the extra +$50 in EBD Credits for every five friends referred during Double Credits campaign periods.

Calculations shown are fully based on referrals during Double Credits campaign periods. Double Credits campaign periods are separate from regular campaign periods. To find out the current status of your account, sign in and go to your My Account page or contact our customer service team.

where to find your ebd credits

All EBD Credits obtained through our Referral Program are accumulated in your Eyebuydirect account. You can view your EBD Credits accumulation history under the “EBD Credits” tab of your My Account page. When it comes time to apply credits towards a purchase, you’ll be able to do so at checkout. You'll find a dedicated EBD Credits section at checkout where you can enter the amount of credits you wish to use towards your purchase total (up to 50% of the total).

How to use your ebd credits

• EBD Credits can only be used towards up to 50% of each transaction total, per purchase.
• You can pay using a combination of EBD Credits and a different payment method, such as a credit card or PayPal.
• EBD Credits cannot be refunded.
• If a refund is issued for any purchases made using a combination of EBD Credits and another method of payment — such as a credit card or PayPal — EBD Credits applied to that purchase cannot be refunded to your EBD Credits balance, but the rest of the purchase price will be returned to the separate payment method(s) used for the original order.
• EBD Credits cannot be exchanged for money or any other currency.
• EBD Credits expire 12 months after the date they were earned.
