Above Glasses

For the price it is well worth it. They came exactly as pictured. The spring loaded feature is top notch. I'm really impressed.

Glasses are good. Although it took quite a while to receive them. Also, I ordered two pair of the same glasses/magnification but the second pair were clear glass. About a year ago I ordered a two pair and the same thing happened. Both times Eyebuy quickly responded and sent a new pair. But I wonder if anyone else has had that problem.

Even though I had a lot of back and forth with Eye Buy Direct (EBD) support staff, in the end I got a great pair of glasses. I first ordered the "Mel" frame with a progressive prescription. When they came in, they had small plus signs (+) and the number 250 etched faintly into each lens. I inquired about it and EBD offered to replace the glasses. I changed to the "Vega" frame, keeping the same prescription. Those, too, came in with the etchings in the lenses. When I complained again, EBD said the etchings were normal for progressive prescriptions. It seemed to me like something had changed in the explanation for what was going on. They offered to replace the glasses again, so I changed to the "Above" frame. Those just came in and while they still have the plus signs and the number 250 etched into the lens, I'm keeping them. I have to say that in all three cases the quality of workmanship was excellent. The glasses were always beautiful and well made. And at no time did staff at EBD become rude or short tempered with me. They were always polite and professional. That's why I was willing to give them five stars. Thank you, Eye Buy Direct.
