Aliana Glasses

I was looking for something in a different color other than the "norm"...preferably blue, but couldn't find them in a style I liked, so opted for a green color. The choice here was called olive, but it is far from olive, or anything near what is pictured. It is more like a light brown tortoise with splotches of a light clear gold, hinting towards a greenish gold. But you would never call them green, or olive to look at them in any light: outside, inside, or fluorescent light. Asking family and friends, everyone said they are tortoise. The style is great for me, as is the fit of these glasses, and the prescription perfect. I opted to keep them, but color is so important these days because glasses are not only utilitarian, but a fashion accessory too. When I emailed customer service, I was asked to take a picture and email it back. I did not get that...just go to your stock and pull one out and look at it. Since I need my glasses and these were a new prescription, I did not want to wait another month for whatever exchange process would ensue. Review would have been a five star, but took away two stars for the disappointment due to color.

The glasses are perfect prescription is right and the glasses fit and are very light and comfortable.

I have enjoyed getting the tortoise shell larger glasses that are particularly "in" right now. Gone are my wire frames, smaller glasses (except for backup). Also gone are the "rimless glasses" that I ordered a year or two ago. I find they fall apart and don't fit right. They are fragile. Thank you Patricia Malone
