Actually bought these frames with prescription sun glass lenses first. I liked them so much I purchased a pair with clear prescription lenses. These are the largest spectacles I've ever owned. They are also the most comfortable, and feel as though they're the lightest when I'm wearing them. I'm not an optician, but I am a physicist and engineer. My assessment of these frames and lenses is that the design and production quality are exceptional. It's hard to believe that buying "specs" online turned out so much better than my previous experiences going to opticians associated with ophthalmology offices. whowudathunkit?

I have a big face. I've always had trouble finding spectacles that really fit me. Any new glasses I purchased went through multiple torture sessions in the hands of opticians before they'd work for me. And then they'd still usually be uncomfortable. I got a pair of the GORDON design with black frames configured as prescription sunglasses, and I loved them so much that I got clear lens prescription glasses of the same design. I can't stop marveling over the view these frames and lenses provide. And the spectacles are so light and comfortable. The nose pads are adjustable, but I haven't had to fiddle with them. Both sets of glasses fit me as though they'd been custom made for me, possibly due to the excellent design of the spring-type hinges and the long temples.
