Eye glases exchanged under warrany

It was a real pleasure to deal with EyeBuyDirect. This was my 4th set of glasses and thy all fit the first time. My recent purchase was; the frame did not suite my face. After contacting EyeBuyDirect, a replacement pair was under way in just a few days (under warranty) for an absolute minimal charge. Thank you EyeBuyDirect. Walter Spirig

The Optometrist wanted $700+ for what I got for under $200!

First, a confession. I'm on Medicaid. Yes, they do pay for glasses, but only the most basic frames and lenses. Which means, for the prescription I received from my eye doctor last year, "Granny Glasses". Thick lenses with lines (they were my first pair of bifocals) in nickel frames. And I, like so much of the population, am allergic to nickel. So I asked about titanium frames, as well as no-line bifocals and photochromatic lenses. The optician quoted a price north of SEVEN HUNDRED BUCKS! So I went to the local Walmart vision center, and they quoted a price of $350. Needless to say, as someone on benefits, neither price was within my budget. So I went looking on the Internet, and stumbled across EyeBuy Direct, where I found these frames. With photochromatic PROGRESSIVE lenses and all the coatings, it came in under $150. Needless to say, I bought them. There was a bit of a delay in manufacturing, but they made up for it by upgrading my shipping. That was August of 2014. In the sixteen months since then, I have had no problems whatsoever, and will definitely be buying another pair, probably next summer, when I have my next eye exam.

I like having multiple pairs of reading glasses

I have a pair of reading glasses near my computer, another by the kindle reading area, another in the car and have glasses in other places for convenience. In my younger days I could use Walmart reading glasses, but this is no longer the case because of different prescriptions for the right and left eye. The convenience of multiple pairs of glasses is available because of the EBD pricing which I estimate to be about a fifth of what my optometrist would charge for my glasses.
