Lands Glasses

Received these a couple weeks ago. Paid for premium progressive and added the light pink tint to get good UV protection when I'm reading my computer on the patio. I call them my "pre-evening" or "happy hour" glasses, because the are perfectly tinted for sunset time when there are shadows everywhere. They're also good for cloudy days when there is still harmful glare. The arms have a fun wave. I do feel the shape could be better, more of a modern straight rectangular shape, so I am only giving 4 stars. But the quality and clarity is fantastic!

Fun wavy arms

These are fantastic frames. They’re described as ‘silver,’ but I think the finish may just be polished titanium, uncoated with anything else. It’s got that weird high-tech gleam like titanium, anyway. I didn’t get the very lightest of the possible lenses (1.6), and still these are ridiculously light. The shape of the arms, and Ti’s natural springiness, give enough clamping pressure at the temples to keep them from moving around without causing any discomfort. I’ve never had a pair of glasses, prescription or sunglasses, that stayed put this well. I guess they look a little big, but I bought these to be photochromic, and you need a certain amount of face coverage for effective sun blockage. They look terrific when the lenses darken.
