We’ll ask for your pupillary distance (PD) — the distance between the center of one pupil to the center of the other — when you order your men’s large sunglasses. This ensures you’re looking through the right spot in the lenses. If your prescription doesn’t list your PD, don’t worry. Our PD guide will show you how to measure it yourself in minutes.
Find Your Ideal Frame Size
To figure out the right size for your large-lens men’s sunglasses, it’s easiest to start with the measurements on a pair of glasses you already own. You’ll find the frame size written on the inside of the temple, or “arm.” You can also use a measuring tape to measure your current glasses. See our frame measurement guide for details.
Go Lightweight
Men’s large sunglasses will be most comfortable if they’re lightweight. Light plastic or acetate, rimless shades or barely-there wire rims can all fit the bill. If you opt for metal glasses, our moveable nose pads will help ensure they rest comfortably on your nose.

Are large sunglasses good for outdoor or sporty use?
Yes. Their wider lenses give more protection against sun, wind, and glare. For active days, pair with polarized or mirrored lenses for extra clarity.
